A narrow and shallow water path (which was used during the 19th century to bypass the canal and allow for maintenance of the wheel) can be seen from inside the space, along 5 meters (15 ft) right behind the front wall, through a glass floor. A central patio going all the way to the rooftop brings in natural light. This lot was sold to artist Cecile Chappuis for her Carton Noir workshop. (in dark blue on the floor plan)
